I'M.BACK!!!

Sort.of.

What's.changed.since.my.last.post?..Well,.for.one,.Felicity
destroyed.my.space.bar. Until.I.make.a.decision.about.how.to
resolve.the.problem,I'm.using.periods.in the.place.of.spaces...Rather.annoying,.actually.

EDIT: Really annoying. The carriage return on the edit page is much longer than the space on the display page. I had to go back and edit my not-as-genius-as-I-thought-it-was perioding-instead-of-spacing so that my margins would work. Hmmm. Hyphens instead of periods instead of spaces might be the way to go. Genius, Part II.

I'm.also.employed...As.an.attorney...It's.pretty.cool.

So,.my.plan.here.is.to.start.blogging.again...Maybe.once.a.week or.so...The.name.of the.blog.is.totally.inappropriate at.this.point.because.I.see.my.wonderful daughters for.about.six.waking hours.a.week.these.days. Absence.does make.the.heart.grow fonder. Especially.for.them. It's.a.mob.scene.whenever.I.come.home. Instead.of pitchforks.and.torches,.though,.I.get.hugs.and.giggles. I.love.it...I'm.a.sucker for.positive affirmations.of.my.existence.that.way.

So.that's.the.plan.

I.have.another.problem...I.don't.keep.any.pictures on.this.computer. Finding usable.material.for.keeping rule.#1.(a.picture.with.every.post).is going.to.be difficult.

This.picture.was.taken.in.June. Had.a.little.mission.reunion with.some.guys who.I.was.with in.the.Bela.Missao.Sao.Paulo.Interlagos.

From.left.to.right.are: Cesar Melo, Gavin Young, Josh Burke, and me. Gavin's wife, Jodi, took the picture.

These.three.guys.were.all.mission.legends. It.was.good.to.catch.up. Terra and Jeremy Daniel, also mission legends, were there, too. They had to leave before picture time.

It's.getting.to.be.time.to.catch.up.again!

The Binge will have to wait

I'm not biding my time on purpose, but I got busy today. The Binge will have to wait until tomorrow.

Tonight: making sandwiches, Tomorrow: BINGE BLOG!!!!

First, I'm breaking a rule with this post. There is no photo involved. That's against the rules.

Second, I've been busy breaking in the "Lounge Wear" that Carina gave me for Christmas. It looks like pajamas. It feels like pajamas. But the label said "lounge wear." Do you know how hard it is to get to blogging when there's lounge wear involved? I think it's broken in now. And I will get back to blogging.

Third, I've been teased a few times over the years about being a "kept man." That's life when you marry way above yourself and your wife is more ambitious than the two other most ambitious people you've ever met--combined. She's working on a big project for My Mind's Eye (it's a scrapbooking company) at 11:20 at night. And I'm lounging. She asked me to make her a sandwich and some chicken noodle soup. And will I do it? YES!! Why? Because I rule! And because it's less boring than playing Facebook Pokemon.

Meh. Why not?


I couldn't stand to break the rule. As long as my neurons are conspiring to direct my thoughts away from divorce and competitive sports, I might as well not break the rules. And with that line I've just set down my other rule. But I'm not telling you what it is. A prize to the person who figures it out.

The blue plaid on the left of the photo is the lounge wear. That was Christmas morning. The girls were having fun with their loot while their Aunt SuiKim (Carina's sister) took some photos. And I discovered that no one bothered to take a good picture of me. So, you don't get the lounge wear in full effect. Yet.

So, people, the wait is over. Tomorrow will be a binge blog. And I'll get back to this more regularly. Lounging/parenting/sleeping/playing video games/lawyering-once-in-a-blue-moon is time consuming!
